How do I enrol on the course?

You can enrol on the course by going on to our website and finding the course you would like to attend, select the date and you will then be able to pay the deposit (or full balance if the course amount is less then the deposit) The remainder of the cost will be due on the day of the course. This can be paid by card or cash when you arrive at the school. 

How soon after enrolling can I start the course? (GTI)

If it is a GTI course that you are attending then once you have enrolled on the course and paid the deposit for your course, we will then send you the link that you need to complete the GTI theory. Once you have then paid the GTI fee of £25 you will have immediate access to the online course modules which means you can start learning straight away. Practical training will be provided within three weeks of completion of the theory aspect of the course.

How long will it take me to complete the course? (GTI)

The time it takes to complete the course will depend on how quickly you learn as an individual, and also on the number of hours per day you spend on it.

Is there a time limit for completing the course? (GTI)

No.

 

Is the course accredited?

The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists for membership and insurance.

Is the course accredited for Continuing Professional Development - CPD?

Yes. The course is accredited for Continuing Professional Development by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists.

What support is available to me whilst doing the course?

All GTi courses have access to integrated email support from fully qualified therapists and tutors.

What if I am dyslexic?

Each course module includes an audio soundtrack of the course material which is ideal for students who are dyslexic.

Do I need anything special on my computer?

You will need to have a modern web browser and speakers or headphones. Please note that the GTi course modules do not currently run on some mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads and are not compatible with Google Chrome browsers.

How will the course be marked?

Following each course module you will take an online examination which requires a pass rate of around 70%. For the practical module you will need to demonstrate that you can perform the outlined tasks to the skill level required.

Am I allowed to refer to text books or notes during the examination?

No. You are expected to complete online tests under exam conditions without referring to any notes, text books or online help

What if I fail a module?

If you fail a module you have the ability to re-take the examination twice. If you fail the module you will be contacted by the tutor who will offer support before making a final attempt

What if I fail the practical assessment?

You will need to arrange another day of training where your practical assessment was carried out. You will not be charged for this.

Do I need to complete any paperwork?

No. All examinations are completed online and a record of your marks is displayed in your login area. When you complete your practical module you may need to fill out your details as well as a review form

What will I receive when I complete the course?

You will receive a Flourish School of Beauty Therapy Diploma certificate or you will receive a GTi Award certificate which will be mailed to you on successful completion of the course.

 

 


 

All courses / Deposits are non refundable and non transferable. We may consider at our own discretion a cancellation on medical or compassionate circumstances. In this circumstance a transferal fee of £50 will be charged, however, if proof of a medical circumstance, this can be waivered.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations that are out of our control. We can however, offer an alternative training date.

If our training school has to cancel a course due to sickness, it is not responsible for loss of income, accommodation/travelling costs students may occur. We will endeavour to give our students 24 hours notice and another training date shall be offered.

Please try to arrive 15 minutes before the training classes start to allow for a prompt start.

All students are required to work on each other. However some courses do require the students to bring a model. Please make sure you model is suitable for the treatment and patch tests are carried out if required.

Booking / Cancellation  / Refund Policy

To secure your course you will be required to pay at least a deposit. However some courses do require full payment

.

If you need to cancel your course then please do so no later then 48 hours prior to the course date.

No refunds will be issued by Flourish School of Beauty & Aesthetics. We will however work with you to transfer you onto another date and or course.

If you do transfer onto another course that is of a higher value then you will be required to pay the difference before confirming you new placement.

 

If you fail to attend a course with no contact then no refunds or new dates will be offered.

None of our online courses are eligible for a refund. This is because you will have had full instant access to the course material.

 

All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
